摘要 <p>A wireless communication system using a plurality of elemental frequency bands, wherein a channel quality index (CQI) corresponding to each of a plurality of downlink elemental frequency bands is efficiently controlled and a mobile station apparatus appropriately transmits a signal including a channel quality index (CQI). The mobile station apparatus comprises: an uplink control data generating unit (407) for generating a channel quality index corresponding to each downlink elemental frequency band; an uplink control channel selecting unit (409) for selecting a particular radio resource when there have occurred, in the same time frame, two or more of a plurality of radio resources allocated in advance for transmitting, from a base station apparatus, the channel quality indices of the respective downlink elemental frequency bands; and a transmission processing unit (405) for placing, on the radio resource selected by the uplink control channel selecting unit (409), the channel quality indices generated by the uplink control data generating unit (407) for transmission to the base station apparatus.</p>
