<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens-holding device for surgery, which can certainly hold a lens on a pupil position even if an eyeball is moved and can control problems such as invasion by conventional suture to the minimum. <P>SOLUTION: A lens-holding ring 50 is held between portions of a cord-like body 40a stretched along the surface of the eyeball 1 by being supported by two or more cannulas 21 and 22 which are stabbed into a sclera 2, is fixed to the surface of the eyeball 1 by the tension of the cord-like body 40a, and holds a lens 30 for the surgery on the eyeball in that state. The lens-holding ring 50 has a lens-holding body 51 with an opening 52, in which the lens is inserted, and engaging parts 57 disposed at opposed positions across the opening 52. The engaging part has an engagement structure, which engages the cord-like body 40a for fixing the lens-holding body to the surface of the eyeball so as to clamp the lens-holding body, and a turn-back part 58 at the tip of the engaging part for preventing the cord-like body from coming off. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
