摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air vent structure of a friction engaging device capable of preventing a response delay of hydraulic pressure at shift transmission by removing air at the optimal timing as well as suitably preventing the idling of an engine attributable to the response delay of hydraulic pressure. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided the air vent structure of a brake B3 which is equipped with an air vent member 18 for removing the stagnant air inside a hydraulic pressure supply chamber 23 as well as which is provided in an automatic transmission 4 equipped with a parking device 20 for switching between a parking locked state and a parking unlocked state in a vehicle and allows a piston member 17 to operate so that an outer brake plate 14 and an inner brake disk 15 are frictionally engaged with each other by a hydraulic pressure supplied to the hydraulic pressure supply chamber 23 of a cylinder member 16. In the air vent structure of a brake B3, the air vent member 18 includes an air vent passage 18c communicating with the hydraulic pressure supply chamber 23. In a parking locked state, the air vent passage 18c communicates with a through-hole 42a of a manual shaft 42, while in a parking unlocked state, the air vent passage 18c is tightly closed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p>
