PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a rolled band which is high-quality and uniform. SOLUTION: In a first process step, a band 10 in unrolled form is arranged on at least two rotatable bearing rollers 6, 7 which are movable to each other, in a second step, the band 10 is brought into contact with a rolling roller 11 in the position of the first bearing roller 7, in a third process step, the band 10 is introduced between the first bearing roller 7 and the rolling roller 11 in the state where thrusting force is applied locally during rotational motion which is driven by at least one of the rollers 6, 7, 11, and the band 10 is subjected to tensile force by the movement of the second bearing roller 6 of the bearing rollers 6, 7 in this process, the rolling process is controlled in accordance with the predetermined measured value of the material volume of the band 10 or a given measured value and the setting of the predetermined rolling process is determined on the basis of it.
