The invention relates to a device comprising a ground milling cutter (2), a gas feeding device (4) for one or more gases or gas mixtures, exhaust gas, carbon-dioxide enriched gases and/or hot gases. Said device is for example a self-operating milling cutter (1). Said ground milling cutter (2) normally comprises a cover (3), a gas feeding device (4) and a rotating milling cutter roller (6) which is arranged in the cover (3). Said device is used in a method for treating the ground (8) with lime or with a binding agent containing lime (7) for improving the ground. A gas or gas mixture is guided via the ground milling cutter (2) to the ground (9) during a ground milling process. Said gas feeding device (2) has many advantages when used in a ground milling cutter (2). |
