PROTECTION METHOD FOR SUBSCRIBER ACCESS NETWORK AND EQUIPMENT THEREOF

A protection method for a subscriber access network and system thereof are provided, which belong to the communication field. The method includes: connecting a broadband network gateway (BNG) device and N predetermined digital subscriber line access multiplexers (DSLAMs) with an aggregation (AGG) device, wherein N is a natural number (101); assigning each DSLAM of said N DSLAMs a primary BNG interface to serve it, assigning N DSLAMs a backup BNG interface set to obtain the backup relationship, and forwarding the backup relationship to the AGG (102); backing up the subscriber data in the DSLAM to the backup BNG interface set, in order that when any primary BNG interface fails, the AGG hands over the subscriber in the DSLAM served by the failed primary BNG interface to a backup BNG interface in the backup BNG interface set (103). The equipment includes: a connection module, an assignment module and a first backup module. The embodiment of the present invention provides a flexible backup relation to protect the subscriber access network, therefore reducing the influence of the subscriber service.
