#CMT# #/CMT# The profile (10) has a u-shaped first and second metal profiles (12, 18) connected with each other. A fire-and/or heat resistance isolation material (24) i.e. plaster board, is arranged between the first and second metal profiles. The metal profiles are provided with base strips (14, 20) that are arranged at a distance (A) from each other. Narrow strips (16, 22) protrude perpendicular from the base strips in same direction (x). Each of the narrow strips is overlapped by parallel another narrow strips (32, 40) of third and fourth metal profiles (28, 36). #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Fire protection profile for use as a pillar, socket and cross-bar in a frame of a wall element, door and windows (all claimed). #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The metal profiles are provided with the base strips, and the narrow strips protrude perpendicular from the base strips in same direction and are overlapped by parallel another narrow strips of the metal profiles, thus assembling the fire protection profile with individual, light weight profile parts in flexible and economical manner at increased mass. #CMT#DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS : #/CMT# The drawing shows a cross sectional view of a fire protection profile.
