<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve suitable fail-safe operation in failure of a changeover mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: A hybrid vehicle includes: an internal combustion engine (200); a power transmission mechanism (400); a first motor generator (MG1); a second motor generator (MG2) configured such that input/output of motive power is possible with a driving shaft (600); an energy storage means (12); and a lock mechanism (500) capable of selectively changing over a state of one rotary element (S2) equipped in the power transmission mechanism between a lock state and a non-lock state. The hybrid vehicle further includes: a decision means (100) for determining whether the lock mechanism is in a normal state of being able to change over a speed change mode to a continuously variable transmission mode from a fixed transmission mode; and a correction means (100) for correcting a power regeneration amount of the second motor generator to an increase side as compared with when the lock mechanism is in the normal state in a fail-safe operation request period wherein the lock mechanism is not in the normal state and wherein the fixed transmission mode is selected as the speed change mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
