<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing apparatus and a printing system which can switch a resumption operation for giving priority to a post-treatment and a resumption operation for giving priority to save printing resources corresponding to a request of a user when a printing job performing the post-treatment of a copy unit is interrupted and resumed. <P>SOLUTION: When a printing job performing a staple processing is interrupted and this interrupted printing job (the interrupted job) is resumed by an own machine, a composite machine 10 switches a resumption operation for giving priority to the staple processing which performs a printing from the head page of a copy and performs the staple processing, and a resumption operation for giving priority to save the printing resources which performs the printing from the interrupted page of the copy where the printing is interrupted and the staple processing is not performed, in accordance with a selection condition of the normal mode and an environmental mode which the user selects in advance as an operation mode for the own machine, and resumes the interrupted job by this switched operation mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
