PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator control device usable while restraining performance reduction and failure. SOLUTION: The problem is solved by having an AC power source, a converter device for rectifying an alternating current, a smoothing capacitor for forming DC voltage by smoothing rectified voltage, an inverter device having a switching element and supplying the DC voltage to an electric motor by being converted into AC voltage by switching by the switching element, an electric current detector for detecting an output current of the inverter device, a Peltier element arranged on a heat radiating surface of the switching element and cooling the heat radiating surface, a control device, and a Peltier element control device for driving the Peltier element based on a calculation result, by calculating an electric current supplied to the Peltier element based on a prediction result, by predicting a temperature rise in the heat radiating surface of the switching element from a control value of the inverter device.
