<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deformation of a socket terminal without degrading design flexibility in a wiring board with a connector mounted thereon. <P>SOLUTION: A socket housing 1 is provided with each recess 7 which is surrounded by a side 2, a bottom 3, and a partition wall 4 while having an opening 6, and each overhang 8 provided at the upper end of the partition wall 4 so as to protrude to the opening 6 side. Each support 17 of a first jig 15 is inserted into the recess 7 from a hole 9 provided in the bottom 3 so as to support the overhang 8 by the support 17. When socket terminals 10 are inserted into the recesses 7 by a second jig 20, the socket terminals 10 are engaged with the supports 17 and the socket terminals 10 are elastically deformed so as to prevent the free ends 10d from interfering with the overhangs 8. The socket terminals 10 stored in the recesses 7 are fixed such that each base 10b is press-fitted into each groove 5 and each free end 10d is covered by each overhang 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
