<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching unit that is miniaturizable and improves waterproof properties. <P>SOLUTION: A switching unit 10 has a unit body 15 that is enclosed within a casing 20 and in which a switching device 13 is mounted on the surface on a circuit board 11 side where the circuit board 11 and a busbar circuit 12 are in close contact. The switching unit 10 also includes a connection terminal 12A that extends from the unit body 15 to the outer side of the casing 20. In addition, in the switching unit 10, the inside of the casing 20 is filled with a sealant 50 that covers the overall mounting surface sides of the circuit board 11 and the busbar circuit 12, and terminals and connections (soldered parts) of the switching device 13.
