PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated silica fine particle-dispersed phenol resin for blending with rubber, in which coated silica fine particles are dispersed beforehand to restrict the coagulation of silica during rubber kneading and to keep a high dispersed state of silica and which highly contributes to both of wet grip performance and low rolling resistance of a tire as a result. SOLUTION: The coated silica fine particle-dispersed phenol resin for blending with rubber includes a phenol resin (a) and coated silica fine particles (d) obtained by coating silica fine particles (b) with an organosilicon compound (c) in advance.
