PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for evenly placing a section of adherent plate water-containing gel without buckling and overlapping. SOLUTION: The method comprises moving a section of plate water-containing gel in the diagonally downward direction through a plurality of free rollers and pressing the section, at the point of touching a belt conveyor, with a press member or the belt conveyor so as to evenly place the section, and its apparatus is described.
