PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a room temperature curing type aqueous inorganic coating agent excellent in antifouling property, weatherability, glossiness maintaining property, heat resistance and the like. SOLUTION: By blending 100 pts.wt. of swellable clay mineral and 2 to 25 pts.wt. in terms of effective solid component of an alkali silicate as effective components of a coating agent in water as a solvent, a room temperature curing type aqueous inorganic coating agent excellent in antifouling property, weatherability, glossiness maintaining property, heat resistance and the like can be provided.
