PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display technique for allowing in vivo information necessary to be visually identified. SOLUTION: An FM modulator 20 outputs a transmission signal of continuous wave to which frequency modulation processing is performed on the basis of a demodulation signal. A reception mixer 30 uses a reference signal in which correlation with a target position in a living body is adjusted and performs demodulation processing of a reception signal to obtain a demodulation signal corresponding to the target position. The demodulation signal thus obtained includes a component near DC, a base wave component of a demodulation frequency, and high harmonic wave component. Display processing for visually identifying the component near the DC included in a Doppler signal is applied to a Doppler display image which shows the Doppler signal about the target position.
