PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire a mat base which makes natural dry a wet foot-wiping mat in a condition that the mat is laying as it is by a structure promoting ventilation. SOLUTION: The natural drying mat base includes the mat base protrusive and elastic and having air-permeable meshes or lattices and an anti-mat-base-slip rubber provided on one side end parallel to an axis of protrusion. The recess side of the protrusive base downward placed on the floor and the mat placed on the protrusive side make the base a waiting and drying state. In the use, a person standing on the mat crushes the protrusion by the weight, bringing the base into contact with the floor, making it stable and work as the normal foot-wiping mat.
