PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control system and the like allowing a communication test of protocol data to be conducted without creating a control instruction program. SOLUTION: In this control system, an engineering tool includes a communication test instruction means providing a communication test instruction to a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller). The PLC includes: a communication test data storage part storing second protocol data; and a communication test means communicating with an external apparatus by the second protocol data stored in the communication test data storage part based on the communication test instruction received from the communication test instruction means.
