The separating element (1) has a hinge profile (3) with a base body, where the hinge profile is arranged at an upstream end and engages in sections (6) that form a hammer head (7) of a separating element blade (2). The sections are attached at two sides of the blade and enclose the upstream end of the blade. A transition area with one of the sections is provided between the hinge profile and the blade and at the sides of the blade. The hinge profile is fixed at the hammer head of the blade by a play-free form closure. An independent claim is also included for a material course comprising a nozzle arranged downstream to a turbulence producing unit in a flow direction of fiber suspension.
