Increase in worldwide demand for petroleum, a fossil fuel, continues every year and will also continue in the future. However, in addition to having bad effects, such as air pollution or global warming, on the global environment, petroleum is known to be limited and exhaustible. This invention will solve the problem of from what and how to obtain fuel and energy such as electricity which are not only necessary forever for the human being living on the earth but also increase in demand year to year. Disclosed is a river-flow power generating device wherein a power generator is installed on a ship, which is moored in a river, thereby generating power using the river flow as motive energy.
