<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend a life of a cutting blade in a simple constitution while securing good cutting of a cutting object. <P>SOLUTION: The cutter is equipped with: a cutter roll 2 and an anvil roll 3, which rotate in the opposite direction of each other about rotating axes substantially parallel to each other. The cutter roll 2 and the anvil roll 3 carry a cutting blade 2e and a receiving blade 3e, respectively. An cutting object supplied between the cutter roll 2 and the anvil roll 3 is cut by the cutting blade 2e and the receiving blade 3e facing each other.
