PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide various kinds of techniques such as a method for immunizing an animal, which induces a humoral immune response in high efficiency when an antibody to an antigen protein is prepared by gene immunization.

SOLUTION: A first gene encoding the whole or a part of antigen protein and a second gene encoding the whole or a part of GroEL are administered to an animal so that the first gene and the second gene are expressed in the animal body and a humoral immune response to the antigen protein is induced.
