PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external structure with excellent noxious gas decomposition, antimildew and antialgae properties while inhibiting the deterioration of a base material, as well as a photocatalytic aqueous coating fluid. SOLUTION: This external structure includes a base material and a photocatalytic layer formed on the base material. The photocatalytic layer can be obtained by drying the photocatalytic coating fluid after its application. The photocatalytic coating fluid contains photocatalytic titanium oxide particles, tungsten oxide particles, a silicone emulsion, a water-soluble silver compound and water.
