摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas detector capable of suppressing the deterioration of the accuracy of the gas detection of detection target gas even in the case that the characteristic change (deterioration) of a gas detection element occurs accompanied by the elapse of a time in a use state. SOLUTION: The gas detector 150 is constituted so as to perform correction processing for raising gas detection sensitivity in gas detection and determination processing (S160) in gas detection capacity setting processing (S150) in the case that a D element 3 is determined to be in a deteriorated state in deterioration determination processing (S140). By performing the correction processing of the gas detection sensitivity (oxidative gas detection threshold value Td), the deterioration of the accuracy of the gas detection and determination processing (S160) is suppressed even in the case that the D element 3 is deteriorated and a change quantity in the positive direction of electrical characteristics at the time of the detection of oxidative gas is reduced. By this gas detector 150, the deterioration of the accuracy of the detection of the detection target gas is suppressed even in the case that the characteristic change (deterioration) of the gas sensor element 3 for the oxidative gas occurs accompanied by the elapse of a time in the use state.
