<p>Disclosed is a lithographic printing original plate which can be on-press developed, while having excellent printing durability, stain resistance and fine corrosion fouling resistance. Specifically disclosed is a lithographic printing original plate which sequentially comprises a photosensitive layer that contains (A) a sensitizing dye, (B) a polymerization initiator, (C) a polymerizable compound and (D) a binder polymer and a protective layer in this order on a supporting body. The lithographic printing original plate is characterized in that the supporting body is formed using an aluminum alloy plate wherein the density of intermetallic compounds having a circle-equivalent diameter of not less than 0.2 µm is not less than 35,000 pieces/mm2 in the surface and the number of aluminum carbides having a maximum length of not less than 1 µm is not more than 30,000 pieces/g.</p> |
