<p>The method for the production of dry ice, comprises guiding required liquid carbon dioxide from a tank (1) into a pipeline (2), where the pipeline is cooled at the downstream section before the pipeline outlet (4) through a cooling device (5). The liquid carbon dioxide passes into the pipeline outlet as dry ice in a solid state. The pressure of the liquid carbon dioxide is measured in the upstream line so that the pressure of the produced dry ice is discharged as dry ice rod to pipeline section (3). The liquid carbon dioxide is regulated in the upstream of the tank through a suitable pump. The dry ice rod discharged from the pipeline end is cut to length after the requirement through a suitable device. An independent claim is included for a device for the production of dry ice.</p> |
