<p>A method and an apparatus for channel estimation of Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) system are provided by the present invention. Said method comprises: checking the data after baseband decoding; encoding and modulating the data passed the checking, and obtaining the modulated symbol transmitted on the nth carrier by the transmitter; by comparing the re-modulated data with the received data before performing the channel estimation, obtaining the fading value of the wireless channel on the carrier n in the frequency domain; and obtaining the result of the channel estimation according to the modulated symbol transmitted on the nth carrier by said transmitter and the fading value of the wireless channel on the carrier n in the frequency domain; wherein, n is a natural number greater than or equal to 0. Under the condition of not increasing the number of pilots, the present invention can improve the accuracy of the channel estimation significantly.</p> |
