PURPOSE: An elastic string winding/unwinding device with improved performance is provided to minimize the force for winding and unwinding an elastic string and ensure smooth operation by removing interference between ratchets. CONSTITUTION: An elastic string winding/unwinding device with improved performance comprises a housing(10) and a rotary unit(20). The housing comprises a receptor(11) which has a receiving cavity(111) with open top and a body which is formed on a side of the receptor. The rotary unit is coupled with the housing and moved up and down with a mounting unit(30). The rotary unit comprises a column(21) which has an inner center hole and a coupling part(212) for fixing an elastic string, a lower element which is located on the bottom the column, and an upper element for grip which is located on the top of the column.
