<p>The invention relates to a regulating system (2) for regulating the cabin pressure P C of an airplane (4), comprising at least one cabin pressure regulating unit (6), which is equipped, by controlling at least one air removal or air supply device (14) of the airplane (4), to adjust the cabin pressure P C within the airplane body (12) supplied with fresh air and acted on by pressure to a pressure value that is predefined for the cabin pressure regulating unit (6) or to a predefined cabin level. When changes of the pressure value or the cabin level are to be carried out, for example during a climb or descent, the cabin pressure regulating unit (6) maintains the quotient of the temporal change of the cabin pressure P c in the airplane cabin and the cabin pressure P c constant. As a result, the gas expansion rate or the gas compression rate in the middle ears of the passengers remains the same, so that no irregular or increasing discomfort occurs among the passengers during the entire climb or descent.</p> |
