PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an operator surely recognize, when rejected money is discharged. SOLUTION: A money processing apparatus is provided with a paid money detection means for detecting whether or not money is present in a payment port; and an output means for outputting a voice to the outside. A payment/reception control means perform payment notification through an output means to the outside in the case of performing payment processing, while a payment port is put in an empty state; and when the payment processing is performed while reject money is detected at the payment port by the payment money detection means, a warning is issued through an output means to the outside in output configurations different from the payment notification.
