<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate sharing of members disposed around a light emitting module. <P>SOLUTION: The light-emitting module includes a circuit substrate 17 which is mounted to a mounting base 12 and is made into a shape such that when the circuit substrate 17 is rotated around a central point P at 90 degrees in the direction perpendicular to the direction of thickness of the substrate 17, the shape of the outer periphery at an arbitrary position after the rotation matches the shape of the outer periphery at the arbitrary position before the rotation, a semiconductor light-emitting element 20 placed on the circuit substrate 17 and made into a shape extending in a given direction, and a first electrode 18 functioning as a positive electrode and a second electrode 19 functioning as a negative electrode which are connected electrically to the semiconductor light-emitting element 20 and are formed on the circuit substrate 17 to be symmetrical with respect to the central point P. The first electrode 18 and the second electrode 19 have a connecting portion 18c and a connecting portion 19c, to which connecting terminals for supplying drive current to the semiconductor light-emitting element 20 are connected. When the circuit substrate 17 is rotated at 90 degrees, at least part of the first electrode 18 and that of the second electrode 19 come to lie at the pre-rotation positions of the connecting portion 18c and the connecting portion 19c, respectively, after the rotation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
