<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an organotin compound catalyst to be recovered and to be repeatedly used in an ester-interchange reaction in good repeatability in a method for producing an alkylene glycol di(meth)acrylate by subjecting an alkyl (meth)acrylate and a hydroxyalkyl (meth)acrylate to the ester-interchange reaction in the presence of the organotin compound catalyst. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the alkylene glycol di(meth)acrylate includes reusing the following distillation residue containing the catalytic component in a new ester-interchange reaction by adding and dissolving the hydroxyalkyl (meth)acrylate in the distillation residue, and recycling the mixture. The distillation residue is obtained by distilling a reaction mixture after the ester-interchange reaction to separate the alkylene di(meth)acrylate or the like of a target product, and cooling the distillation residue containing the catalytic component to ≤100°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
