<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a more lightweight and more compact portable lighting system. <P>SOLUTION: The portable lighting system includes a body 2 incorporating an unillustrated secondary battery and four surface light emitting devices 3, with a film 4 arranged between the body 2 and the four surface light emitting surfaces 3 to couple the body 2 and the four surface light emitting devices 3 together. The surface light emitting device 3 includes an organic EL element 5 provided on its front surface. The film 4 is formed of a flexible material such that it is able to be freely bent, and this makes it possible for the portable lighting system 1 to be folded compact. Alternatively, a solar battery panel is provided on a surface of the surface light emitting device 3 opposite from the surface on which the organic EL element 5 is provided, and power generated by the solar battery panel is used to charge the secondary battery built in the body 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
