PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a claw pump improved in centering accuracy of a shaft center and improved in manufacturing efficiency by appropriately dividing a housing, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: A cylinder 10 includes: a peripheral wall part 11 of the cylinder; one side plate part 11; and the other side plate part 13. A gear box 30 is provided in the other side plate part 13 on a side opposite to the peripheral wall part 12 of the cylinder, and includes: a peripheral wall part 32 of the gear box; a bearing part 31; and the other bearing part 33. A structure (housing) integrally formed of the cylinder 10 and the gear box 30 is divided between the one side plate part 11 and the peripheral wall part 12 of the cylinder, and divided between the one bearing part 31 and the other bearing part 33 to form a structure dividable into three parts of an end surface wall part on an exhaust opening side (the one side plate part 11), an intermediate body part 40, and a gear side body part 50.
