PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid receiver and a refrigerating circuit including the same capable of stably circulating a proper amount of refrigerating machine oil to a compressor at all times even if the compatibility of a refrigerant and the refrigerating machine oil is poor, and improving the durability and reliability of the compressor. SOLUTION: In the liquid receiver which is disposed in the refrigerating circuit having the compressor, and in which the refrigerant separated into gas and liquid inside thereof is separated into two layers of a refrigerant/refrigerating machine oil mixing layer including a large volume of refrigerating machine oil and a refrigerant/refrigerating machine oil mixing layer including a large volume of a refrigerant, a discharge pipe is disposed in a state of being connected to a refrigerant outlet positioned at a lower section at its lower end, extending upward, and vertically displaceable at its upper end, a float is mounted to the upper end of the discharge pipe, and the discharge pipe has communication holes at upper and lower positions corresponding to the two layers to make the circumference of the discharge pipe communicate with the inside of the discharge pipe.
