<p>The present invention discloses an apparatus for configuring subframes for a positioning service. The apparatus includes a configuration unit and a transmission unit, wherein the configuration unit is set to configure a subframe for a positioning service to a subframe which is different from a Paging Occasion (PO), and the transmission unit is set to transmit a Positioning Reference Symbol (PRS) on the subframe for the positioning service configured by the configuration unit. The present invention also discloses a method for configuring subframes for a positioning service. The present invention can avoid a collision between a PRS and a paging message, and definitely reduce the sets of the subframes which can be used for the positioning service under different scenes, thus reducing the complexity of the transmission and reception of PRS, maximizing, by configuring the subframes for the positioning service according to the scenes, the number of the subframes used for the positioning service, and enabling the transmission terminal to easily configure the subframes for the positioning service.</p> |
