The device (1) has a lift element i.e. reciprocating piston (15) that is driven by a drive element i.e. cam shaft (31), in an oscillating manner. The lift element is connected with an inlet hole (12) guiding a pressurizing agent e.g. oil, during suction motion. The lift element sucks the agent from the inlet hole and discharges the agent into an outlet hole (13) under high pressure during push-in motion. A pressure limiting unit such as elastic element i.e. pressure spring (22), limits the pressure in the outlet hole and is arranged between the drive and lift elements.
