<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-row self-aligning roller bearing capable of improving fretting resistance and oil supply performance under a low temperature, and a spindle support device for wind power generation using the same. <P>SOLUTION: In the spindle support device 1 for wind power generation which has a spindle 3 supported by a roller bearing 5, the bearing 5 consists of an inner ring, an outer ring, and a rolling element interposed therebetween, and is formed by enclosing around the rolling element a grease composition constituted by blending an additive agent in a base grease comprising a base oil and a thickening agent. The thickening agent contains lithium soap, composite lithium soap or composite amide lithium soap having an amide bond in a molecule. The base oil contains 50 wt.% or more of highly purified oil with a viscosity index of 120-180. The additive contains at least poly(meth)acrylate, ZnDTP and phosphate. The poly(meth)acrylate has a dynamic viscosity of 100 mm<SP>2</SP>/s or higher and lower than 850 mm<SP>2</SP>/s at 100°C and is compounded at 0.2-6 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the base grease. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
