<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain the smooth rotational operation of the horizontal rotating shaft of a power unit or the like using wind over a long period of time. <P>SOLUTION: This power unit includes: the horizontal rotating shaft 3 provided with plate blade members 4, 5 and rotated around a horizontal shaft; a bearing 8 rotatably supporting the horizontal rotating shaft 3 around the horizontal shaft; a holder 7 interiorly retaining the bearing 8 and provided with a plurality of peripheral grooves 20a, 20b, 20c formed in its outer surface; a cover member 9 fixed to the horizontal rotating shaft 3 and covering the plurality of peripheral grooves 20a, 20b, 20c formed in the outer surface of the holder 7; a rotatably vertical rotating shaft 2 vertically arranged with the holder 7 fixed; and a generator 6 operated according to the rotation of the vertical rotating shaft 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
