PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polycarbonate-based composite material having high storage modulus.

SOLUTION: The polycarbonate-based composite material contains: polycarbonate comprising a repeating unit having isosorbide or a derivative thereof and a repeating unit represented by formula (2) with a ratio such that the content of the former is 55-98 mol% and the content of the latter is 2-45 mol% based on 100 mol% of the total repeating units; and organized layered silicate dispersed in the polycarbonate. In formula, each symbol is specifically defined.
