<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide gravure ink that is excellent in dispersibility, flowability, residual ink storage stability, stability on a printing machine (fogging of a plate) for a long stretch of time, and suitability for lamination upon retort treatment, and that is not limited by an acid pigment, a binder resin, and a solvent. <P>SOLUTION: The gravure ink is composed of a dispersant, a pigment, one or more binder resins selected from a polyurethane resin, a vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer, a nitrocellulose resin, a polyamide resin, a chlorinated polypropylene resin, and a solvent. The dispersant is obtained by bringing an isocyanate group of a urethane prepolymer (E) having two isocyanate groups at one terminal area, which is obtained by bringing a hydroxy group of a vinyl polymer (A) having two hydroxy groups at one terminal area into reaction with an isocyanate group of a diisocyanate (B), into reaction with a primary and/or secondary amino group of an amine compound including a polyamine (C).
