<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope apparatus in which a display unit provided on an operation unit can be suitably viewed and the operation unit can be stably carried. <P>SOLUTION: The endoscope apparatus includes: an insertion portion 10 having a distal end 10A and a proximal end 10B; an imaging unit 14 fixed to the distal end 10A of the insertion portion 10, for picking up the image of an observed object; the operation unit 20 fixed to the proximal end 10B of the insertion portion 10, for operating the insertion portion 10 and the imaging unit 14; the display unit 30 provided on the operation unit 20, for displaying the image picked up by the imaging unit 14; a support portion 50 formed to extend longer than the width dimension W of the display unit 30 in an axial direction connecting both ends, for supporting the operation unit 20; a connection portion 41 interposed between the operation unit 20 and the support portion 50 and fixed to at least a part of the outer surface of the operation unit 20; a fixing portion 46 for turnably attaching the operation unit 20 to the support portion 50; and a belt-like or cord-like suspension portion 60 hooked to each of both ends of the support portion 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
