<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve parallel encoding for image data and mounting of error processing, and to improve the efficiency of parallel encoding when an error is generated. <P>SOLUTION: A parallel encoding device 1 is equipped with: a storage means 6 for storing control information 11 indicating progress states of a plurality of processing modes for encoding in a plurality of processing blocks obtained by dividing image data 8; parallel processing means 2 to 4 for executing the processing modes for executable processing blocks in parallel based on predetermined dependence relation between the control information 11 stored in the storage means 6 and the plurality of processing modes for the plurality of processing blocks; a determination means 7 for determining when an error is generated in the processing of the parallel processing means 20 to 4 or not; and a control means 5 which, when the determination means 7 determines the generation of an error, updates a progress state of an error generation processing block in the control information stored in the storage means 6 and the progress state of processing blocks depending on the error generation processing block to re-execution states. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
