PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motor oil composition having excellent electric insulation, cooling performance and thermal oxidation stability, a high ignition point from safety point of view, having lubricity and low-temperature start-up performance usable also as a transmission oil, and preferably having excellent biodegradability. SOLUTION: The electric motor oil composition is produced by using a base oil comprising one or more kinds of esters having a hydroxyl value of≤50 mgKOH/g, a total acid value of≤2 mgKOH/g and an ignition point of≥150°C among esters synthesized from adipic acid and/or sebacic acid and a 5-14C alcohol and/or esters synthesized from neopentyl glycol and/or trimethylolpropane and a 5-14C carboxylic acid, and adding an amine compound and/or a phenol compound to the base oil in an amount of 0.01-3.0 wt.% based on the total composition.
