A method and system for configuring a telecommunication device and a telecommunication device thereof are provided. The method includes: receiving the configuration data and the trial run command distributed by a user and performing the trial run; when receiving the termination command distributed by the user, terminating the trial run; storing the configuration data in a temporary configuration data set; receiving the modified configuration data and trial run command so as to re-perform the trial run, wherein, the modified configuration data and trial run command are obtained by the user modifying the temporary configuration data set. By terminating the trial run and reserving the temporary configuration data set, the present invention provides an active intervention trial run mechanism for the user, enhances the efficiency of configuration, and reduces the data transmission pressure.
