PURPOSE: A multiband width communication system and a method thereof, a method for tracing a location of a marine object in real time using the same, and a marine network are provided to perform communication in the selected communication mode in physical layer by selecting an optimized communication mode among a high frequency bandwidth communication, very high frequency bandwidth communication or a satellite communication in a data link layer. CONSTITUTION: A physical layer(510) transceives data information with a ground BS according to selected communication mode among a HF(High Frequency) band communication, VHF(Very High Frequency) band communication or a satellite communication. A data link layer(520) controls a communication mode converting operation of a physical layer. If the data link layer selects the VHF bandwidth communication, a network layer(530) searches a short path for communicating with the ground base station through a neighboring ship.
