<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber molding having high liquid transporting performance and high suction speed, a method for producing the molding, a writing utensil and a liquid-feeding tool. <P>SOLUTION: The fiber molding (core material 12) is produced by thermal forming of a nonwoven fabric containing a thermally adhesive fiber in a form of a rod. Large gaps having a cross-section area of 0.005-0.5 mm<SP>2</SP>and small gaps having a cross-section area of <0.005 mm<SP>2</SP>are included in a cross-section of the fiber molding perpendicular to the fiber axis, the sum of the cross-section area of the large gap is 3-30% based on the area of the section perpendicular to the axis of the fiber molding, and 15-500 large gaps are present in 50 mm<SP>2</SP>of the cross-section perpendicular to the axis of the fiber molding. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
