<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device that displays images in a favorable display mode based on an input image signal. <P>SOLUTION: The display device 100 includes: a plurality of input terminals 101a; a display panel 104 including a plurality of display areas 104a corresponding to each of the plurality of input terminals; and a controller 105 for displaying partial images in the corresponding display area based on a partial image signal input to each of the plurality of input terminals. The controller 105 displays the partial images in contact with each other as one image in the center of the display panel when all the numbers of longitudinal pixels corresponding to each of the partial image signals are the same and all the numbers of horizontal pixels are the same, and the controller 105 displays each of the partial images as independent images at the center of the corresponding display area when any of the numbers of longitudinal pixels corresponding to each of the partial image signals is different, or any of the numbers of horizontal pixels is different. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
