<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display controller for displaying a prediction candidate with high convenience for an operator when generating a sentence by using a key where a plurality of characters are allocated to the same key. <P>SOLUTION: The display controller includes: a character detecting part 3 for successively detecting whether a signal inputted by an input operation part 2 is character information or not; a prediction candidate part 4 for extracting prediction candidate information 401 previously stored in a prediction candidate dictionary 5, based on the character information detected by the character detecting part 3; and a prediction candidate display control part 6 for displaying a plurality of prediction candidates concerning the prediction candidate information 401 extracted by the prediction candidate part 4. When this-time input character information is the same as the last-time input character information, the prediction candidate display control part 6 preferentially displays the prediction candidate, where the second character belongs to the same row of the this-time input character information, among the prediction candidates displayed last time in the display part 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
