PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the viscosity of a liquid in a discharge port while reducing the consumption of ink. SOLUTION: A discharge surface 3a where nozzles 3b for discharging ink droplets are opened is formed in an inkjet head. An outlet 61a from which a transparent liquid flows out is opened near the end of a transparent liquid feed blade 78. When maintenance operation, a horizontal movement mechanism moves the transparent liquid feed blade 78 and a wiper 79 together in the wiping direction so that the wiper 79 may wipe away the discharge surface 3a after the transparent liquid feed blade 78 feeds the transparent liquid flowed out of the outlet 61a into the nozzle 3b.
